The prediction

The Gold Coast have won four and lost three of their seven matches thus far. Two of their three defeats have come against two of the three joint-top teams, with the other against a strong Melbourne side, too.

They now face a GWS Giants side that were woeful early on against North Melbourne but managed to come from behind to earn a slender seven-point victory at the Manuka Oval in Canberra in their most recent outing.

GWS Giants may be able to eventually compete here, having shown some resilience, but Gold Coast remain favourites for this one.
