Gold Coast come into this one on the back of having their three-match winning streak ended by a slender six-point defeat at the hands of North Melbourne in their most recent outing in Victoria last week.

They now face defending champions Brisbane, who haven't been electric this year. The Queenslanders have managed six wins with six defeats as they just about remain tucked inside the top ten and the playoff places.
