  • Faroe Islands are aiming to win a World Cup qualifying matches away from home for the first time since October 2016 when they won 2-0 in Riga against Latvia.

Gibraltar vs Faroe Islands prediction

Gibraltar went through their UEFA Nations League League D campaign unbeaten, but they didn’t get promoted as they finished below San Marino. They come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Albania in an international friendly to make them winless in eight games since defeating the Sammarinese in October 2024.

They now face a Faroe Islands side that suffered a 1-0 loss to Croatia in the Faroese capital city of Torshavn, courtesy of a 31st minute winner scored by Andrej Kramaric. The visitors have started their UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with no points from their opening three matches.

The Faroe Islands’ performance level has been improved and they have been competitive in tougher matches, and so they are firm favourites for this one against Gibraltar.

Gibraltar vs Faroe Islands tip: Faroe Islands to win & under 3.5 goals
