Getafe preview: Steady start for Getafe
Jose Bordalas remains in charge of Getafe, amid speculation of his departure over the summer and, despite the departures of key men such as Omar Alderete and Christantus Uche, Getafe have once again started reasonably well.
They started their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo at Balaidos in Galicia, before they then managed to win away from home against Sevilla, before suffering a 3-0 defeat to Valencia in the Jose Bordalas derby at Mestalla a couple of weeks ago.
Oviedo preview: Competitive Oviedo
Having returned to the top-flight of Spanish football for the first time in over 20 years, Real Oviedo started their season with back-to-back defeats against Villarreal and then Real Madrid, but then the Asturians managed to pull off a stunning victory the other day.
Oviedo, prior to the September international break, managed to edge past Real Sociedad by a goal to nil at Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Asturias, courtesy of a 40th minute winner scored by former Aston Villa man Leander Dendoncker.
Getafe team news: A few issues
Getafe are dealing with a few doubts ahead of the visit of Oviedo as centre-back Abdel Abqar, right-back Kiko Femenia and veteran striker Juanmi all potentially unavailable.
Predicted XI (3-5-2): David Soria; Djene, Domingos Duarte, Diego Rico; Jorge Iglesias, Mario Martin, Luis Milla, Mauro Arambarri, Davinchi; Adrian Liso, Borja Mayoral

Oviedo team news: No Ilyas Chaira
Oviedo do not have many fresh issues as Alvaro Lemos is a long-term absentee and Lucas Ahijado remains a doubt, but key attacker Ilyas Chaira is now sidelined for the visitors.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Aaron; Nacho Vidal, David Costas, Dani Calvo, Alhassane; Dendoncker, Alberto Reina; Ilic, Ejaria, Brekalo; Federico Vinas
Unavailable: Alvaro Lemos (Injured), Ilyas Chaira (Injured)
Questionable: Lucas Ahijado (Injured)
Getafe vs Oviedo prediction
Getafe have started the season steadily and look to be capable of pushing on to potentially earning them a spot in the top-half of the table once again in La Liga. Oviedo are expected to try and mount their push for survival on the back of solid defensive foundations, and that will likely frustrate a Getafe side that are already fairly average in terms of their attacking fluency, so this isn’t expected to be a thriller for the neutral.
Getafe vs Oviedo tip: Under 2.5 goals
