Getafe vs Elche prediction

Jose Bordalas has got his Getafe side to, again, be punching above their weight, despite a limited squad in terms of both quality and quantity. They were dealt a minor blow last weekend as they were edged out by city rivals Atletico Madrid by a goal to nil last weekend due to a late Domingos Duarte own goal.

Coached by Eder Sarabia, Elche play one of the more proactive and fluent styles of football and they have surpassed all expectations throughout this campaign. The hosts took the lead twice last week against league leaders Real Madrid but they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw in that clash.

Getafe will finally believe they should take the initiative at home to Elche but that may well suit the visitors’ attacking style and so it could be a surprisingly fun watch for the neutral.

Getafe vs Elche tip: Both teams to score
