Getafe preview: Low-scoring Getafe
Getafe come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Barcelona at Estadi Johan Cruyff in Catalonia the other day, due to a brace scored by Ferran Torres as well as a second-half strike notched by Dani Olmo.
Jose Bordalas’ side have once again punched above their weight in terms of results at the start of this season, but the hosts are extremely difficult to watch from the perspective of a neutral.
Alaves preview: Frustrated Alaves
Deportivo Alaves managed to steer themselves clear from relegation on the penultimate day of last season, with former Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Coudet at the helm. He was tasked with evolving their style to being a little more proactive this season.
The Basque side have started the season, like Getafe, reasonably well but, like Getafe, head into this one on the back of a loss. They suffered a 2-1 at home to likely fellow strugglers Sevilla last weekend due to a second-half winner from Alexis Sanchez.
Getafe team news: Adrian Liso injury
Adrian Liso has been a surprise package up-front for Getafe this season but he has now picked up an injury making him sidelined for this one alongside experienced forward Juanmi.
Predicted XI (3-5-2): David Soria; Abqar, Domingos Duarte, Djene; Kiko Femenia, Mario Martin, Luis Milla, Mauro Arambarri, Diego Rico; Borja Mayoral, Kamara
Unavailable: Adrian Liso (Injured), Juanmi (Injured)

Alaves team news: Fully fit
As they make the trip to the capital city this weekend, Alaves have no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues and so they will be able to name an unchanged eleven.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Antonio Sivera; Jonny, Garces, Tenaglia, Diarra; Jon Guridi, Antonio Blanco, Denis Suarez; Carlos Vicente, Boye, Carles Alena

Getafe vs Alaves prediction
Jose Bordalas is known for playing an extremely aggressive style of football that is all about safety first and ensuring things are difficult for the opposition to play. They, with their 5-3-2 system, will once again set themselves up to frustrate an Alaves that do not really have the attacking capability to get through a strong defence. That said, the fact that they are at home against reasonably similar opposition means Getafe may need to come out a bit more. That could lead to one of the rare higher scoring games involving these sides.
