Genoa vs Inter Milan prediction

Having been winless in their opening nine matches of the campaign, Patrick Vieira was sacked and Genoa have now won three and drawn two of their last five matches. The Genovese have been much-improved under Daniele De Rossi, having most recently won by two goals to one away at Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium in Friuli.

They now face an Internazionale side that, coached by Cristian Chivu, have been strong in Serie A but the Nerazzurri do come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat at San Siro against Liverpool in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League in midweek. They did hammer Como, impressively, by four goals to nil last week.

With home advantage, as well as their good form of late, Genoa will fancy their chances of taking the game to Inter and it should end up being quite a good watch for the neutral.
