Genoa vs Hellas Verona prediction

Genoa were winless in their opening nine matches of the campaign before then sacking Patrick Vieira and going on to beat Sassuolo away from home in their first game afterwards. Since the appointment of Daniele De Rossi, the Genovese have shared entertaining draws against fellow strugglers Fiorentina and then Cagliari.

They now face a Hellas Verona side that, under the management of Paolo Zanetti, have narrowly escaped relegation in each of the last two seasons and they are again in danger without a win in their opening 12 matches. Their 2-1 defeat to Parma last weekend has seen them slip to the bottom-of-the-table in Serie.

Verona lack quality in both defence and attack and so siding with Genoa, especially with their home advantage, would be the way to go for this one.

Genoa vs Hellas Verona tip: Double chance – Genoa to win or draw
