The prediction

Geelong most recently defeated the West Coast Eagles by 122 points to 76 last week. The Cats have won all three of their home games so far this season, succumbing to defeats on the road against Gold Coast and then Hawthorn.

They now face a Bulldogs side that also most recently suffered a defeat to the aforementioned Hawthorn. That, though, ended what was a four-match winning streak to kick off the 2026 campaign.

2025 league and finals runners’ up Geelong have started imperiously at home once again and back-to-back defeats may beckon for the previously rampant Bulldogs.
