The prediction
Geelong come into this one on the back of a 25-point hammering of Collingwood last week, extending their winning streak to three matches in the AFL. That leaves them comfortably tucked inside the top ten and a miracle would be required for them to fall out.
Essendon lifted themselves off rock-bottom in the AFL ladder for just a couple of weeks, going back to the bottom-of-the-table last week as Richmond defeated West Coast and Essendon succumbed to a 72-point loss to the Adelaide Crows.
Essendon have lost by a combined total of 163 points since beating the GWS Giants in mid-July and a comfortable Geelong victory is to be expected for this one at GMHBA in Victoria.
