The prediction

Geelong are going well right now, especially on home turf, and come into this contest having won three of their last four games in the AFL.

The Cats produced an excellent fourth quarter against North Melbourne last week, taking the game away from the Kangaroos with a flurry of goals in what were ideal conditions at GMHBA Stadium.

Collingwood were involved in the first draw of the 2026 season in Round 8, which extended their unbeaten streak to three games. However, the victory slipped through their grasp when Hawthorn's Dylan Moore kicked home after the final siren to level the scores in dramatic fashion.

That will have really stung, and they now run into a side who found their scoring boots late on against North Melbourne. Should they continue where they left off, the Cats should edge this.
