THE PREDICTION

Despite entering their semi-final with reigning European and world champions Portugal as favourites, Spain were unable to live up to that tag as they succumbed to a 3-2 loss and will have to make-do with attempting to finish in third. Ukraine stand in their way having also narrowly lost out in their last-four clash with Russia but having lost three of their five matches in the tournament so far, they have it all to do to overcome the Spaniards and they look set to suffer yet another defeat in this one.
