The prediction

The Fremantle Dockers age old question marks over their ability to travel reared its head again this week after they were beaten by 61 points at St Kilda. It was the lowest scoring game Round 9, 2023 against the Gold Coast Suns. Despite being home this week the task certainly does not get any easier.

Collingwood played out another classic with arch nemesis Geelong, succumbing by just three points at the MCG on Saturday night. They will certainly fancy their changes going into this one despite their second loss of the season, they will have lost no admirers and they remain entrenched in the top four with six wins from their eight matches.

Statistics wise, the Dockers have been hard to assess. They have won 16 quarters from their 32 played this year and four wins and four losses pays testament to that. They have been starting each half well (Five first and third quarter wins) and have been demolished in their fourth quarters (outscored 111-196).

This all points to a comfortable Collingwood victory despite their heavy travel schedule of late.
