Francisco Cerundolo will look to continue an excellent start to 2026 at Indian Wells.
The Argentine is into double figures for tour-level wins and recently picked up the Buenos Aires title in his homeland.
First up, the 19th seed takes on Benjamin Bonzi for the first time after the Frenchman claimed his maiden main draw success of the season with a 6-4 6-3 triumph over Valentin Royer.
The Frenchman ended his season in Brussels last year just outside the top 50, so is perhaps a bigger threat than his current ranking of 111, but Fran is capable of mixing it with the big boys and that forehand is one of the few that can still truly hit through opponents in these slower conditions.
