Francisco Cerundolo vs Alexander Zverev prediction

Francisco Cerundolo maintained his magnificent form with a dominant win over Ugo Humbert.

The Argentine romped to a 6-4 6-3 victory to tee up a seventh career meeting with Alexander Zverev.

The German third seed was given a tougher run-out but came up trumps in the key moments with a 7-6 7-6 success over Quentin Halys.

The match-up here is intriguingly poised at 3-3 with Zverev winning the last three, including a 6-2 6-4 6-4 victory at the Australian Open in January.

The head-to-head has been split by surfaces with Zverev winning all three on a hardcourt and Fran prevailing in all three on clay.

All the indicators point towards another win for Sascha and we can’t go against that, but Cerundolo is playing so well it may be worth the risk of backing him to take a set or even snaring an upset.
