Francesca Jones vs Whitney Osuigwe prediction

Fran Jones came from behind to roar into the round of 16 in São Paulo.

The Brit battled hard to defeat Lina Glushko 4-6 6-2 6-3 and set up a tussle with Whitney Osuigwe.

The American was too strong for Brazilian novice Victoria Luiz Barros as she beat the 15-year-old 6-3 6-4. 

This will be their first meeting and Jones is the favourite as the sixth seed and more in-form player. 

Osuigwe was professional in the way she handled the occasion against a raw, home hope in the previous round and Jones will be expecting a real test, but should have the goods to prevail.
