Francesca Jones vs Lina Glushko prediction

Fran Jones will be looking to kick on after achieving a career high just last month. 

The Brit came up short at the first hurdle at the US Open but did win the Palermo 125 on clay and arrives here on the back of a quarter-final run on the hard courts in Guadalajara. 

First up she meets Israel’s Lina Glushko, who has made little impression on tour and has drifted to 362 in the rankings. 

Jones will fancy her chances given the gulf in ranking and level and will feel she will also suit the conditions after performing well at her last tournament.
