THE PREDICTION
After a cagey first leg that was decided by some Kylian Mbappe magic at the death, this tie is set up perfectly for a blockbuster conclusion. Real Madrid deployed a largely defensive approach in France but will need to be more proactive here given that they need to overturn a one-goal deficit. That will suit PSG with the weapons they possess on the counter, but Maurizio Pochettino’s men haven’t exactly been tearing things up lately. They’ve lost two of their three Ligue 1 games since the first leg while Real have been far more impressive in La Liga, so the form is with the hosts here. Los Blancos look capable of overturning the tie but PSG’s forward line is such that you would expect them to find the net in the process, so both teams to score is the prediction.
