THE PREDICTION
Two of the favourites for the Champions League title do battle at Parc des Princes in what is surely the tie of the round while it is also a repeat of last season’s semi-final which saw Man City progress 4-1 on aggregate. Pep Guardiola’s side hit Leipzig for six in their Group A opener but conceded three in the process and an improved defensive display will be paramount if they are to keep the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and a potentially fit Lionel Messi at bay. The latter hasn’t enjoyed an ideal start to life in Paris but he has haunted ex-boss Guardiola with his displays in past meetings and it would be fitting if he got off the mark for his new club here. Either way, both teams scoring seems probable here, given the considerable attacking talent on the pitch.
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
