THE PREDICTION

The outlook is already looking bleak in Group C for these two sides as both come into this fixture having lost their first two matches and Borussia Dortmund and Ajax will be out of sight before long if they aren’t careful. Besiktas in particular are enduring a poor run of form at present as they have lost three of their last four in all competitions while you have to go back to 2017 to find the last time they were victorious in a Champions League encounter. Sporting CP, meanwhile, were torn apart by Ajax in their Group C opener but acquitted themselves better against Dortmund last time out and have been solid domestically since then. Both really need the points here but backing the visitors in the draw no bet market looks the sensible play.
