THE PREDICTION
Trabzonspor were able to break their five-match drawing streak with a 2-0 win at home to Fatih Karagumruk on Saturday and they remain eight-matches unbeaten as a result. With their position in fourth place of the Super Lig looking fairly nailed-on, save for an unlikely collapse from Galatasaray above them, they could be forgiven for stepping off the gas but they have lost just twice away from home all season. Hosts Goztepe are very nearly mathematically safe from relegation but should feel secure enough already with so many teams below them and this match has the hallmarks of a surprise considering we are at that late stage of the season now. Trabzonspor’s last six matches have seen less than 2.5 goals scored and that could be a useful option here instead of picking a result that looks up in the air.
