THE PREDICTION
Halmstad’s last competitive victory saw them beat Malmo 4-1 in the Svenska Cupen just over a month ago and they have been unbeaten if uninspiring in their pre-season friendlies since. The newly-promoted champions of last season’s Superettan conceded just 18 goals in the second division last year and if they can play up to that standard in 2021 they have an excellent chance of staying up and even comfortably. Travelling Hacken are a tough first test, though, as the side who finished third in the Allsvenskan last season went five matches unbeaten to close out the campaign.
