Under the management of Jose Bordalas, Getafe’s expectation would be to ensure they are not involved in a relegation battle on the final day of the campaign and anything that surpasses that is a bonus. ALMERIA
Almeria avoided relegation the final day of the season but, especially with some average transfer business in the summer, were always expected to struggle down at the bottom once again this season. The Andalusians are the only winless team in La Liga so far this season and begin the weekend sitting rock-bottom.
They come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat at home to Real Sociedad in their most recent outing, a couple of weeks ago, before the international break. That was their fifth successive defeat as they continue some really poor form throughout the campaign, as reflected by their goals against column of 35 conceded in just 13 matches.
