THE LOWDOWN
CADIZ
It was always expected to be a struggle for Cadiz this season as it becomes clear that they have perhaps over stayed their welcome in the top-flight after almost half a decade or so of overperformance. They narrowly survived on the opening day last season but are very much one of the worst teams in the country this time around.
They began with two victories in their opening four matches of the campaign but their goalless draw with Villarreal last weekend means they are now winless in their last 19 games. They sit 18th in the table ahead of this match day but that would appear to be genuinely flattering to them, given that 19-game winless run of form.
REAL BETIS
Former Manchester City and Real Madrid manager Manuel Pellegrini was given a boost at the end of the January transfer window with the arrivals of Pablo Fornals, Chimy Avila and Cedric Bakambu. The Andalusians are awaiting on the latter two to be available but they are already steadying the ship after an underwhelming couple of months.
Betis come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with a strong Getafe side in their most recent outing at the Benito Villamarin last week with Isco’s penalty cancelling out a penalty scored by Mason Greenwood. They are currently sitting outside of the top seven and the European spots on goal difference ahead of this one.

THE PREDICTION
Performances may well have improved since the appointment of former Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino, who replaced Sergio, who was sacked last month. However, they have been reliant on their defensive record for that improvement and now come up against a Betis side that, despite still challenging for a top seven finish, have scored just 26 goals in 23 matches. A double chance bet in favour of the away team looks the way to go for this one but it is still expected to be a low-scoring encounter.
TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – REAL BETIS TO WIN OR DRAW & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
