Atletico Madrid have been much improved this season but the hosts have stumbled a little in recent weeks with just one win in their last four La Liga matches. They shared a 3-3 draw with capital city rivals Getafe in their most recent outing, during the week. They now face a Sevilla side that moved onto their third permanent manager of the season with Quique Sanchez Flores’ appointment. The Andalusians earned a much-needed 3-0 win against fellow strugglers Granada on Tuesday but they remain a weak, underperforming side and Atletico should finally find some rhythm, especially at the Metropolitano.
