ST. JOHNSTONE VS HIBERNIAN PREDICTION
St. Johnstone were able to avoid defeat in the dying minutes of their match away at Hamilton after the high of winning the Scottish league Cup for the first time last Sunday. A 1-1 draw at Accies is not bad going right now as the side at the bottom fight well for their survival but St. Johnstone will need to regroup if they are to escape the bottom-half of the league before the split. They have to rely on St. Mirren losing the rest of their games and to win their two remaining home games against Ross County in two weeks’ time and Hibernian here. Hibs arrive after breaking a four-match winning streak with a surprising 0-2 loss at home to Motherwell and they will be eager to bounce back immediately as they chase down Celtic in second. St. Johnstone won the last meeting between the two in a 3-0 thrashing in the League Cup but in the Premiership they have lost the last three at McDiarmid Park. With both sides in decent form overall this could end up a competitive draw and so draw no bet in favour of Hibs with both teams to score should cover nicely for that possibility.
