THE PREDICTION
Benfica remain in the hunt for the Primeira Liga title after eight wins from their last nine league games but with 10 points separating them and Sporting Lisbon and five games to go their chances look more than slim. They still look set to end the season strongly and could well catch Porto in second after they dropped points last time out. Benfica have scored five goals in each of their last two away games and that should strike fear into the hearts of Tondela, who require just three more points for mathematical safety from relegation. The hosts have been in excellent late-season form but a 0-2 loss at home to Porto in early April looks about the benchmark for this encounter.
