THE PREDICTION
Gil Vicente have gone on a sparkling run of form to win four of their last five Primeira Liga matches and lift themselves towards safety for another season. They shocked Benfica 1-2 on the road on Saturday for their third-straight away win but also have two wins from their last four at home to suggest an overall sea change that should finish their season strongly. The hosts have not lost to a side below them in the table since January but visiting Famalicao are also in decent form and should challenge that here. Despite a 0-1 loss at Portimonense on Sunday, Famalicao are making a good go at escaping relegation themselves and have lost just two of their last nine matches with some excellent draws against Sporting Braga and Sporting Lisbon to boast alongside three wins in that span. A result looks hard to call here but Gil Vicente’s winning habit should see draw no bet in their favour and both teams to score a good combination to cover a potential draw.
