THE TEAM NEWS
ULSAN
- Ulsan have enjoyed a great start to the campaign and started this third round of fixtures at the top of the K League 1 table thanks to a superb win over Suwon Bluewings.
- Ulsan looked set for defeat when trailing by two goals in the early part of the second half but Junior Negao and Kim In-sung drew them level before Negao struck again with a minute remaining.
- That 2-3 success once again highlighted Ulsan’s threat in front of goal with them bagging seven goals in their two games so far and they will be confident of further success in this contest.
BUSAN I’PARK
- Busan I’Park suffered late heartbreak in their home game with Jeonbuk Motors last week and the 1-2 defeat means they have lost both games so far this season.
- Busan looked like they would take a point from the game against the champions but lost their concentration and allowed the visitors to snatch the win in stoppage time.
- Romulo scored Busan’s goal last week after coming from the bench to convert from the spot and having put in a solid display, he will be hoping to earn a spot in the starting XI.
THE PREDICTION
Ulsan and Busan I’Park have had very contrasting starts to the season
with the former securing two wins from two while it has been two losses
for the latter. Busan’s away form in K League 2 last season was superb
but that will count for little here against a very strong Ulsan outfit
and the hosts should be able to maintain their 100% record in this one.
