THE PREDICTION
Relegation-fighting Genoa competed well with Sassuolo on Wednesday and were ultimately undone by a late winner but new manager Davide Ballardini can take plenty of positives from the three games he has taken charge of. His next task is to overcome the challenge of Bologna, who have developed an uncanny knack of drawing games with their last five matches each ending all square. However, they will have seen Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Udinese as two points dropped as they led twice in that game and conceded an equaliser in the 90th minute. Manager Sinisa Mihajlovic will have his men fired up to respond to that disappointment but a battling Genoa side could prove a tough nut to crack so another stalemate is certainly not out of the question here.
