FORTUNA DUSSELDORF
- Fortuna Dusseldorf drew for the fourth game in succession in the Bundesliga but they will be very disappointed that they failed to earn all three points after they threw away a two-goal lead in the closing stages of their game with Koln.
- Goals from Kenan Karaman and Erik Thommy looked to have secured a vital three points for the visitors but Dusseldorf conceded twice after the 87th minute of the game as they let the lead slip in extremely poor circumstances.
- They are now unbeaten in their last five but they will be eager to end their run of draws by earning a victory as they host Schalke 04 and they will make several changes to their side in a bid to manage their build-up of fixtures, although goalkeeper Zack Steffen is unlikely to come back into the equation as he deals with a knee issue.

- Schalke 04’s uninspiring run of form continued as they suffered a second heavy defeat in succession which saw their hopes of finishing in sixth spot take another dent with their winless run now standing at nine Bundesliga matches.
