PSG come into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering of US Orleans in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France in their most recent outing, last weekend. That was their fifth successive victory and they are now unbeaten in their last 12 matches across all competitions, scoring 35 goals in those matches.
BREST
Coached by former Sunderland player, Eric Roy, Stade Brest have been the surprise package of Ligue 1 so far this season as they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the top three and the UEFA Champions League qualifying spots with ten victories, four draws and four defeats in their 18 matches so far this season.
Brest come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Trelissac in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France in their most recent outing, last weekend. They have now enjoyed six victories across all competitions and they are unbeaten in their last nine matches, too, as they challenge for a top three finish.

It does appear that every season there is a game that quashes any faded hopes of something of a title race in France and this one would appear to be the game this season. PSG have a few key absentees for this weekend but even with those players missing they have remained magnificent. They now face a Brest side that will be aiming to keep it as tight as possible but damage limitation to protect their goal difference for a top three push will likely be their main priority.
