They have won just two of their last eight matches across all competitions with a win against rock-bottom Clermont and lower league Thionville Lusitanos.
METZ
Laszlo Boloni brought Metz up to Ligue 1 last season and it was always expected to be a struggle for them this year in the top-flight but the Hungarian coach is coming under increasing pressure ahead of this one. The visitors come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Lorient, last week.
That loss at home to a team that are still below them in the bottom two and the automatic relegation places ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures means they have now suffered seven successive Ligue 1 defeats, also being knocked out in the Round of 64 of the Coupe de France at home to Clermont in that run of form.
