THE PREDICTION
It has been a poor start to the season for new manager Jocelyn Gourvennec and reigning Ligue 1 champions Lille, with the latest setback seeing them concede a late equaliser to Saint-Etienne last weekend. They remain winless in the first three league games of the campaign but they will be determined to rectify that here with victory here against a Montpellier side they have lost to just once in the last nine years. The visitors have started the campaign fairly brightly though, particularly in attack where only PSG have outscored them heading into the weekend’s fixtures. Question marks remain over their defence though, a problem for them last season too, and with Lille likely to push men forward in a bid to register their first three points, this could match could easily feature over 2.5 goals.
