THE PREDICTION
Despite PSG ending the year with a 4-0 win over Strasbourg which left them just a point behind the league leaders, the powers that be saw fit to dismiss Thomas Tuchel and this match marks former Tottenham boss’ first in charge of the French giants. His first test comes against an improved Saint-Etienne side who ended in 2020 on a run of six games without defeat, although admittedly five of those were draws. It may well take some time for Pochettino’s methods to take effect in Paris but they should still have too much for the hosts here, with a hard-fought away win on the cards.
