PSG’s loss to Lyon on Sunday, which them replaced at the top of the table, was their fourth league defeat of the season which is already more than they suffered last season and they will be determined to make a statement of intent in this midweek match against Lorient. They have been handed some good news as the injury Neymar suffered over the weekend is not as bad as first feared and, although the Brazilian will miss this clash, the hosts should still have far too much for their opponents here. Lorient finally stopped the rot with a 3-0 win over Nimes last time out but they are likely to come up short here with PSG expected to be leading at both half-time and full-time in this one.
