Nimes’ 2-0 victory over Bordeaux over the weekend meant they recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season and that has given them renewed belief that they can avoid the drop. Given that Lorient are just one place above them in the table, the outcome of this encounter could have huge ramifications come the end of the season.
