Nice will be glad of the two-week break following this game as they have endured a torrid couple of months. Just one win in their last ten games in all competitions – eight of those defeats – makes for sorry reading for the hosts and new coach Adrian Ursea has plenty of thinking to do over the Christmas period if he is to turn their fortunes around. Before that though, he must navigate his way past opponents Lorient, who themselves have a hit a rough patch to say the least.
