THE PREDICTION
Following a run of three straight defeats, Monaco steadied the ship – just about – with a narrow 0-1 win at Dijon on Sunday but it was not exactly a convincing performance and manager Niko Kovac will be expecting better when his side host Saint-Etienne in their final game of the year. The visitors are scrapping away right now though, having looked almost dead and buried not so long ago, and Claude Puel looks to finally be getting a tune out of his players. They have drawn four of their last five games by going back to basics and that will be the order of the day again here, and with Monaco struggling to kick into gear right now, another stalemate could well be on the cards.
