THE PREDICTION
Monaco’s midweek fixture saw them blow Lorient away in the second half of a match they ultimately won 2-5 and that is now seven points collected from the last three games for Niko Kovac’s often inconsistent side. Goals are rarely an issue for them though, with only Lyon and PSG having scored more than them in Ligue 1 this season, and you would back them to find the net against Angers but it would be no surprise to see them concede, too. The visitors are also going along nicely at the minute and share an identical record to Monaco this season of nine wins, three draws and six defeats. There isn’t much to separate the two sides so a high-scoring draw could well be on the cards.
