• IF won their opening match of the season against Skala but were brought back down to earth last time out as they fell to a 3-1 home defeat against HB.
• They had a huge uphill struggle to get anything from the game against HB after conceding two goals within the opening 15 minutes of the encounter and when HB added to their tally before half time the game was out of reach for IF.
• Expectations for a positive result against the reigning champions are very slim indeed and they are likely to try and keep things tight for as long as possible as an early goal conceded could lead to a heavy defeat.

KI

• KI bounced back from their opening round defeat against B36 with a win against TB last time out, though it was a struggle with the deciding goal coming nine minutes into stoppage time at the end of the encounter.
• They had looked set for a more comfortable victory when Joannes Bjartalidh gave them the lead midway through the first half, but TB found a way back into the game and KI were eventually very relieved when Bjartalidh found the late winning goal.
• It’s unlikely that there will be any significant changes to the team with no fresh absentees reported ahead of this encounter.

THE PREDICTION

This is a match between two teams who finished at opposite ends of the table in the 2019 campaign as the bottom club IF host the defending champions KI. The two meetings between the pair last season both ended with a 3-0 win for KI and despite their unconvincing start to this campaign they should have enough quality to ensure a similar margin of victory on this occasion too.
