- B36 started the season in winning fashion when they defeated the reigning league champions KI 2-0 away from home last Saturday in a clash between the top two teams from the 2019 campaign.
- A goal from recent signing Sebastian Pingel eight minutes from the end of the game broke the deadlock and the game was made safe by Meinhard Olsen with a goal in the 90th minute.
- They have an excellent record against AB to draw upon with an unbeaten run stretching back 19 games – a run which includes nine wins from their last ten encounters.
AB
- AB will not have been disappointed at having picked up only a point from a 0-0 draw against Vikingur in their first match of the 2020 season.
- They were under the cosh at various times in the match with Vikingur bossing possession, whereas the corner count of 3-13 also shows what pressure AB had to withstand.
- They were very comfortable when playing away from home in the closing stages of last season as four wins and a draw from their last five matches on the road in the 2019 campaign suggests.
THE PREDICTION
B36 put aside some of the disappointment at missing out on the league title last season by claiming a 2-0 victory against KI in their first match of the new campaign and they look very capable of building on that success with a victory in this encounter. AB managed to hold out against Vikingur last week but this is a much tougher test for them and a victory for B36 by a margin of two goals is predicted.
