Despite the fact they were defeated by Man Utd in their Premier League opener on Monday, there were plenty of positives that new manager Gary O'Neil was able to take from the performance.
It was once again the fact that they were unable to put the ball in the net that denied them a result though, as they created plenty in the final third. Ultimately, it was a Raphael Varane header that separated the sides, with Man Utd somewhat fortunate to take the spoils.
BRIGHTON
Brighton began the season in fine fashion with a resounding 4-1 victory over newly-promoted Luton, with Roberto De Zerbi's men seemingly continuing from where they left off last season, despite the fact there are a number of changes in personnel.
Solly March, Joao Pedro, Simon Adringra and Evan Ferguson each found the net for the Seagulls, while Carlton Morris grabbed a consolation goal for Luton from the spot.

Once again, Gary O'Neil has a fully-fit squad to choose from and will be tempted to go unchanged given the manner of his side's performance on Monday. If he wants to shake things up in attack, Hwang Hee-Chan and Fabio Silva offer alternative options to Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha.

THE PREDICTION
After the shock of losing highly-regarded manager Julen Lopetegui in the days leading up to the start of the Premier League campaign, Wolves performed much better than expected in defeat to Man Utd to give fans hope that new manager Gary O'Neil can continue the good work done by his predecessor. In the opposite dugout, though, is a manager who has his side playing attractive, attacking football and it will be fascinating to see how well Brighton can perform domestically this season given that they will be competing in Europe. For the time being at least, they can focus fully on the league and we're expecting this free-scoring side to pick up another three points here.
