THE PREDICTION
Vitesse are the latest Eredivisie side to go on a sudden run of poor form and a 0-2 defeat at home to Twente last Sunday made it four matches without a win in the league. They travel to PSV now one point behind AZ in between them in the final Champions League spot and desperate for a better performance. PSV have four wins from their last six league matches to stay second for now but they have exhibited a few wobbles in recent games with a 3-1 defeat at Feyenoord and most recently a last-minute goal at ADO Den Haag condemned them to a poor 2-2 defeat on Saturday. However, both of those came away from home and the hosts have nine wins from their 10 matches played at Philips Stadion so far, including to nil in their last two here. Vitesse have failed to score in their last two and so a clean sheet home victory seems a reasonable outcome in this match, though a straightforward win by any means for PSV is the safer option.
