Ajax beat in-form Vitesse to win the KNVB Cup final on Sunday 2-1 with a dramatic last-minute goal from David Neres. The win makes up somewhat for their disappointment at losing their Europa League tie with Roma and should help them maintain their astounding 17-match unbeaten run in the Eredivisie here as they play their game in-hand with Utrecht. The visitors have been in fine form recently with three wins from their last five league games but their two defeats came at the hands of Vitesse and, last time out, Feyenoord, which does not bode well for their chances against the toughest team in the division.
