WAASLAND-BEVEREN VS BEERSCHOT PREDICTION
Waasland-Beveren lost an important clash at the bottom of the Belgian Pro League with a 2-0 defeat at Cercle Brugge last Saturday and they enter this weekend’s fixtures two points adrift of Excel Mouscron in 17th place. They host a Beerschot side who are less explosive than their early-season romp but find themselves back in the goals with seven scored in their last five league games to warrant two wins and a draw over that span. The newly-promoted side briefly touched the top of the league last year but will be more than happy with a challenge for a European place and their three away wins in a row in the league spells trouble for the hosts here. Beerschot drew 2-2 with Excel Mouscron last Sunday but should fare a little better against Waasland-Beveren with less fight in them. An away win with both teams to score looks on here.
