ANDERLECHT VS MECHELEN PREDICTION
Anderlecht made it through to the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup by beating Cercle Brugge 1-0 on Wednesday night whilst Mechelen were thrashed away at Genk the following evening to leave a push for the European places in the Pro League their only concern. Mechelen have lost two matches in a row now over all competitions after a seven-match unbeaten streak in the league and it looks unlikely that they can become the second team this season to beat Anderlecht at home. The cup win was their first goal at Lotto Park for three competitive matches so goals could be hard to come by here and Mechelen’s six away wins from their last seven suggests both can score in what could well be a draw.
