A hard-fought goalless draw against Columbus Crew extended Nashville SC’s unbeaten streak to six games and they are one of only two sides in the whole of the MLS – the other being Seattle Sounders – to have lost just one game this season. Cincinnati, meanwhile, saw a lead pegged back for the third game running when they drew with Atlanta United in their midweek fixture and their inability to close out wins will be a source of frustration for head coach Jaap Stam.
