THE TEAM NEWS

TUNISIA

Jalel Kadri may have to make some changes for this weekend after Tunisia’s shock defeat to Namibia on Tuesday evening. The north Africans did lose attacker Taha Khenissi to an early injury and the fitness of Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane is also a doubt for their second group stage game.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Ben Said; Kechrida, Meriah, Talbi, Maaloul; Ben Slimane, Skhiri, Laidouni; Achouri, Jouini, Msakni

UNAVAILABLE: Khenissi (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Ben Romdhane (Injured)

MALI

Mali enjoyed a comfortable defeat of South Africa and Eric Chelle will want to name an unchanged eleven for their second game but there are slight doubts over the fitness of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Yves Bissouma.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Diarra; Traore, Kouyate, Niakate, Sacko; Dieng, Bissouma, Haidara; Sinayoko, Doumbia, Koita

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: Bissouma (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

On Tuesday afternoon, Group E has basically already taken an almighty swing for the top two. Tunisia have been underwhelming for the last 12 months or so with limited attacking intent and they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Namibia with an 88th minute winning goal in that game. They now face a Malian side that boast a very impressive spine and they will back themselves to avoid defeat against a side in such poor form going forward. A low-scoring double chance bet in favour of Mali looks the way to go for this one.

TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – MALI TO WIN OR DRAW & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
