THE PREDICTION
Midtjylland made it four matches unbeaten in a row over all competitions when they beat Superliga title-rivals Brondby 1-0 at home on Monday night and in doing so returned to the top of the table. They barely have time to recover from that match now as they face reigning Danish Cup champions SonderjyskE, who lost 3-2 at AaB on Monday night in a reversal of last season’s final in this competition. The defending champions have had a decent ride so far in this Danish Cup campaign, having only met one Superliga side so far in struggling Lyngby, but they will find their hosts in-form and likely too strong in this first leg. Midtjylland have won five of their last six home matches to nil but SonderjyskE did leave the winners in a 1-2 league match back in February.
